Various 2002tii Hoses - Installation and Reference

No matter how hard I looked there wasn't a good reference on how and where the coolant hoses for the tii engine go.  I hope this picture tutorial helps you like it helped me.  It's important to note that in my configuration I did not use the vacuum lines from the distributor to the air box which is specific to the 74 model year 2002tii.

The following hoses are shown in the order that I installed them. If it worked for me it just might work for you to follow the same order if you have completely rebuilt your engine.

This is how the hoses come from 2002 Haus - find all the hoses on their TII Hoses Specialty Page.

This hose connects to the Front of Water pump and over to the water tube.

This hose connects the water tube to the back of the warm up regulator.

This hose connects to the cylinder head to the radiator at the "elbow".

This hose connects to the cylinder head to the thermostat. (I didn't have one to install at the time of pics)

This hose connects to the water pump to the thermostat.

This hose connects to the cylinder head and to the passenger side (water inlet) of the heater box.

This hose connects to the water tube to the driver side of the heater box (not shown).

As you can see, together these two lines make up the heater box water flow.

The large hose connects the valve cover breather to the tii air box which is not shown.
The small hose connects to the throttle body.

This hose connects to the fuel injection pump to the center of the intake manifold (black arrow)

This is the fuel injection pump to engine block oil return hose. Note it has a new part number.
Thanks to Justin Gerry for discovering this.

This hose goes between fitting on back side of the pump and the side of the block near linkage assembly.

This water hose fits between the elbow on the cylinder head and the bottom of the warm up regulator.
Actually it is a straight piece of hose.
